Originally from Chicago, Dr. Tansey received her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences and completed a small animal rotating internship and residency in oncology at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Irvine California. She also completed a year long fellowship at California Veterinary Specialists in Southern California. Dr. Tansey has successfully completed her specialty board exams and joined our staff in 2014 in an effort to provide the best possible care to your patients. Dr. Tansey’s professional interests include feline medicine, paraneoplastic syndromes, and cancers affecting wildlife and marine mammals. In her free time Dr. Tansey enjoys reading, listening to Irish music, and spending time with her husband Mark along with her 2 cats and Anatolian Shepherd dog named Buddy.
